Whilst perhaps best known as a founding member and bassist of the long running internationally successful progressive rock band Porcupine Tree, Colin’s creative bass playing and open approach to music have lead him to collaborate frequently with a variety of like minded and inventive musicians, including former Henry Cow multi - instrumentalist and reed player Geoff Leigh (as Ex-Wise Heads), innovative Estonian guitarist Robert Jurjendal, Italian experimentalist Eraldo Bernocchi (as Metallic Taste of Blood) and fellow bassist Lorenzo Feliciati in the critically acclaimed bass duo Twinscapes, whose latest release was in October 2018 on the forward thinking UK label Rarenoise.
Having contributed to his 2017 album "Magnetic", Colin also frequently performs live alongside renowned dub producer and musician Gaudi as part of the "Gaudi All Stars Orchestra" as well as UK singer Tim Bowness.
In 2015 he formed the band O.R.k. alongside King Crimson drummer Pat Mastelotto, vocalist Lef and guitarist Carmelo Pipitone from Italy’s “anti-folk” favourites Marta Sui Tubi. O.R.k. have several European tours and two full length albums completed to date, with a third album released in early 2019 on Kscope.
Boston based guitarist Jon Durant has added his unique “cloud guitar” and soundscape work to numerous albums and soundtracks. Alongside a series of solo albums featuring collaborators such as pianist Micheal Whalen and legendary bassist Tony Levin (Peter Gabriel/King Crimson), his label Alchemy Records has also released and produced a selection of albums by artists such as Micheal Manring, Wayne Krantz and Gary Willis.
Jon has previously made 3 critically acclaimed albums with Colin Edwin under their Burnt Belief moniker, and also contributed to his previous work with Inna (Astarta/Edwin), as well as appearing live with the group in both Ukraine and the U.K. Jon’s recent album ‘Parting Is” was released in mid 2018 and was nominated for Best Ambient Album in the Zone Music Awards show for new age radio. In April 2019, Durant released his follow up solo guitar album “Alternate Landscapes.”
Kiev based vocalist Inna Kovtun is hugely involved in the Ukrainian folk scene, she regularly performs internationally with the traditional folk ensemble Rozhanitsa, as well as being one half of the vocal duo Astarta (with whom Colin Edwin made a full length album in 2016 - (Astarta/Edwin - Comp Music).
In August of 2019, Inna was named director of the national Ukranian folk ensemble, Kalina.
Inna also contributed vocal arrangements to the 2017 feature film "Bitter Harvest" and has collaborated with UK based ambient improv experimentalists Darkroom as well as Estonian ambient masters Uma (with Jon Durant.)
